Returning DLR merchandise?

Can you return things to DL that were bought there? We bought my MIL a Tinkerbell compter mouse in July. (She loves Tinkerbell) After a few days it stopped working. It came from the Tinkerbell store by the castle. Can we return it when we go in Jan or do they not accept returns, or has it been too long? Can it be returned to a Disney store in the mall?

Just last week I bought one of those light up flashing Mickey head necklaces and it broke. I need to call so I can exchange it..

I remember reading recently that DL no longer accepted Disney Store returns, but I'm not sure about vice-versa, though I have made returns to the brick and mortar store before. DL does have a 60 (90?) day return policy, so unfortunately, I don't think they'd let you return it in January.

Let us know when you find out though please. I'm curious also.
