Returning cruiser gift...towels?

For any recent return cruisers...was the return gift the beach towel? Just wondering if we should bring any extra with us and if we could be expecting a new surprise!

We just got off the Wonder this past Thursday and got the towels and pins. They are nice and soft. Tina

The towels are nice but I remember "in the old days" when you got a really great carry on bag!! Price affects the gifts, but at least if they changed the pin design!!!

We did find out that at the parks those pins are quite trade-able! IF you are into pin trading at all, you can get some nice ones for those CC pins!

Yep, it's definitely still the towel. I think we're got about a bazillion now...gonna be time to do some Ebaying! I'm with Rae...I miss that tote bag (the blue one, not the black one). I had a bunch and sold most of them. Now I wish I would have kept an extra, as the couple that we have left have nearly been destroyed by overuse.

Never got a blue one, but I use that black on all the time! I wish they gave those out again, the towels are nice and all but after getting four I would love another bag instead!

We just got off the Magic and it was the towel and pins.

I forgot about the tote.....That is the best part. We got a red one. With a another pin on it. It is really nice. We are sailing again in 2006. We will be happy with anything that we get. It was wrapped beautifully you almost didn't want to open it up. Tina

As stated, it certainly was a towel. Though these are very nice, it would be nice if they would change these out for people who cruise regularly. This was my 3rd cruise which means I have been eligible for two of the towels. The big hitch to this is: there were 3 of us sharing a cabin on this cruise (not related or in the same family). All of us were return cruisers. There is ONE gift per cabin (one towel and 2 pins) so two of us go without. That is highly unfair for the cruise line to do if you ask me. We all paid a good deal of money for this room and we had to draw straws to find out who got what. Funny thing is that the 2nd time I cruised, there were two of us then who had been before and had to fight that one out also. Just a small gripe on my part.
