Returning Car Rental at Aulani

When we last stayed there, we were able to rent a car for the day at Aulani and return it later that evening to the valet. I also recall, perhaps erroneously, that the rental car places hours were longer than they are now (8am to 1pm).

Anyways, when making the online reservation for a one day car rental, the return time I am required to enter is 1pm, the rental desks closing time, otherwise it says that no cars are available.

So, can we still do like I remember and return the rental car to the valet after the rental desk is closed? If so, can it be any time? We are thinking like somewhere between 7pm and 9pm most likely?

FYI, if anyone else is curious. After two failed attempts at calling the Enterprise car rental desk at Aulani (yes, during their open hours, but no one picked up either time), a failed Contact Us message through the Aulani website (received a confusing and useless response), two attempted calls to the Aulani Disney Travel line (was left on hold way too long both times), I finally called the Aulani Operator number from the website and actually spoke to someone there (who answered the call promptly I might add)...the answer is indeed Yes. Cars rented from the Enterprise desk at Aulani can still be returned to the Aulani valet after the rental desks closing time.

I was just going to start a new thread to inquire if there were any car rental places on site at Aulani....now to see if I can actually book a one way rental online!

Check to see if the Enterprise desk at the Marriott Ko Olina is open. Not sure if the Four Seasons has a rental desk as well but if they do, that will give you more options.
