Returning a rental car at SNA before operating hours

We have a 7am flight out of SNA. It looks like the rental car agencies do not open until 6am. Anyone have any experience with a situation like this? Do they have a drop off location where you can just leave the car and keys?

Usually there is a drop box for the keys, you pull the car into the return lane and drop the keys.
Otherwise, I'd put it in the return lane and leave the keys in it.

Thanks. Hoping it is that easy since it is such an early flight. Not a lot of wiggle room to have to mess with returning a rental car.

Yes, I've done this. There is a drop off lane and you usually put the keys in an envelope and drop them in a box of some sort, depending on which company you use.

At SNA, all the rental agencies are located in the lower level of the parking deck, and its accessible 24/7.
