My husband & I with our DD (5yrs old) & DS (1.5yrs old) are going to Disney World in Nov and staying at POP Century. On the night that we're going to MVMCP, I'm pretty sure we will be leaving after the fireworks when a lot of other people will be leaving too. Would it be faster to take a taxi back to POP than waiting for the bus & is there a taxi stand at MK or do I need to call ahead?

TIA

Not sure if I should have combined these questions or started a new thread for each one?

On our last day, we need to be back at POP Century for 4:30 for the DME. Is it possible to watch the 3pm parade at MK and make it back on time? I'm willing to take a taxi back, this is the best day to see the parade as my little one won't be able to have a nap anyway. I'm leaning towards not even trying to see it because I don't want to spend the last part of our time there in a panic that we might not make it back on time. Unless everyone thinks it's very doable?

Yes, there will be people leaving after the fireworks show, but probably not as large a group as you would think. If you choose to get a cab, you have two choices...head over to the Contemporary (via either the monorail or sidewalk) or head to the TTC (monorail or ferry). There are no cabs available at MK proper. So, you have to leave the park area and head to one of the above spots. I would just take the bus.

It would be close. If you watch from the entrance area of the MK, it's going to take the parade about 15 mins to get to you!! So, you won't even get the parade until 3:15! Then, by the time the parade is over, it will be, probably, close to 3:45. Head to the bus...another 10 mins. Then, wait for the bus...between 1-20 mins, ride back to Pop....15 mins. Even if you were to get a cab.......leave the area by 3:45, walk to the CR...10 mins. Get a cab and ride to Pop......15 mins. If there is any other possible time to see the parade, I would. You need to be at the DME bus stop at least 15 mins prior to your stated pick up time...otherwise, you could very well miss the bus. And there is no guarantee that there will be another bus in 30 mins...and if there were to be another bus, no promise that you would be allowed to use it. Most of us here heartily recommend leaving a park no less than 75 mins prior to your DME time.

Thank you! I didn't know you couldn't get a taxi at MK. Think I'll skip the parade and play the party night by ear.
