Return time for DAS

Once you have a return time for a DAS attraction can you arrive a few minutes early? If you have a 1:00 return time can you arrive at 12:55? I think this is the case with the Genie+ return times from what I have read. Thanks.

The ‘safest’ option is just to arrive at or after the Return Time.
The DAS Return Time says ‘Return after’. It’s possible you could get told to wait for your time if you come early.

That is generally our plan but was just wondering if anyone had any experience arriving a few minutes early and having it work when they tapped in?

They generally let in you 5 minutes before your return time.

Usually 5 minutes before and up to 10 minutes after the end time if there is one. Additional exceptions may be made at the cast members discretion. For example, you were on Splash and it broke down and caused you to miss the end of your preselected return time for Big Thunder thst does have an end time, generally Bug Thunder would still accommodate you.l, but that is up to the cast member.
