Return of the King

Is it possible that maybe if we can get thousands of people to sign a petiton, Universal would bring back King Kong. Either bring him back to Universal Studios or have him be a new attraction at Islands of Adventure. Maybe a New York Island theme with King Kong being one of the rides. What do you think?

I don't know if anyone wants King Kong to come , since ROTM took its place. Plus its a huge hit.

I miss the Kong ride too I always talked about this ride with my future hubby. We're going to orlando for our honeymoon.This would be his first visit to Orlando, and the theme parks. Now he'll never get a chance to ride it(same thing with BTTF). But I bet he'll have tons of fun too with all the other rides and shows

I would LOVE for KK to come back. It was so weird last year with all the merchandising all over the parks but no ride! And it used to be there!!!

I think they could have put the ROTM ride somewhere else.

I seriously doubt that they will get rid of BTTF. If they do then they would be making a big mistake. Getting rid of Kong was bad enough.

Your best bet for a theme park attraction is for the movie to gross over $500 Million in worldwide Box-Office. So if you really want an attraction to be built, go see the movie in theaters and buy the dvd.

Then they'll have to seriously revamp BTTF. The part of the ride/movie where you travel to the future is only to 2015 or something like that. And the preboarding area looks soooo outdated! I like it because it reminds me of the '80's but I'm sure my kids won't really appreciate it.

I think King Kong was more universally identifiable and that one is already history.

That would actually be pretty amusing as long as they made it a very subtle "in joke", since he isn't actually supposed to be there.

tht would be funny if they took that joke seriously and just put a king kong ride next to the jurrasic park river ride. I love back to the future a lot because it also reminds me of the 80's and it has a great atmosphere around it. People who say is outdated should also say the same thing to E.T, Jaws, and espically EARTHQUAKE. I rather keep back to the future because it is one of the biggest franchises ever. Having Simpsons replace it wouldn't be so good since they already have a cartoon ride.
