I was just checking for a new dining reservation for our upcoming trip and when I checked Friday, June 4, at the bottom of the list of available reservations was the Fantasmic Dining Package. It said "temporarily unavailable" - exactly like it did when I first made a Cape May reservation when those opened a couple of weeks ago. There were no times listed, but it was "above the line" so to speak - above all the restaurants with zero availability and all the other special event packages were still way down that list. Maybe Fantasmic is making a return soon?

I noticed this just now. Today was the first day it was there. I check every day several times a day because I've yet to score a dinner reservation on my Hollywood Studios day. Could just be a glitch, but definitely a change. Maybe Fantasmic will return soon. I hope so! Not holding my breath though.

I love the story telling in Fantasmic! This show, Fantasmic!, being closed is definitely the one show or event that bums me out for our trip. But there are plenty of other great things inside WDW parks to light my spirits and have a great time.

I really really hope it's back soon but there's so much uncertainty. We're going in August and I'm praying Fantasmic and Happily Ever After will be back, along with Turtle Talk with Crush (my niece and nephew will love it), Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor, the Finding Nemo Musical, the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular, and Jellyrolls. I know that's a long wish list, but I hope at least something on my wish list is back!

The Fantastic! Dining package is one of those things my family did on every trip pre-covid. It is probably one of the top 5 things we miss on our post-covid trips.🤞Fingers crossed it is back sooner rather than later.

I think I saw on one of the blogs last week that the queue for Buzz Lightyear had been re-routed away from Laugh Floor, and the promo signs that are on the walls of the outdoor queue had been uncovered, so it looks like that will be open sooner than later.

I hope, I really would love this and Happily Ever After back for my July trip!
I would love to see HEA on my July trip, also, but I doubt it will happen. Fantasmic would probably be the first to reopen, because they can limit capacity. Epcot Forever or HarmoniUs might open next because they can spread out the crowds more. Magic Kingdom could do a perimeter fireworks show, though, so guests can be spread out.

The issue with fireworks isn't the show, it's all the guests leaving at the same time after it ends. Packed busses, monorails, boats, ferries, mobs everywhere.
