delta moved our return flight on disembarkation day from 12:21 to 11:54. TA recommended any flight at noon or later. I’m a little nervous about this early of a departure. Anybody had flights at this time after a cruise before and not had an issue. Considering switching the flight altogether

Well, a difference of 6 minutes in actual and recommended times is not much in the great scheme of things...

But if you're really uncomfortable with that, call Delta and tell them that the new flight time doesn't work for you and you need something later. Unless you've accepted the change, they should be able to work with you if there are other options.

Yes...6 min isn’t much and I was thinking that, just liked the security of knowing the previous time was after noon

If you want piece of mind do the early morning walk off and be off the ship usually by 7:30.
We do this and we are usually in our car (Port Canaveral & Miami) and on our way before 8.

Yes I have made flights at that time and even a bit early earlier. I use Disney transportation and don’t do early walk off. I try to do airline checkin but last time Disney seemed to have missed my check in and it still worked. My flight was at 1150.

As others have mentioned, get off the ship as early as possible and you should have no problem making your flight. I believe first seating for breakfast is around 6:45 so you're probably better off just grabbing something quick at Cabanas.

We had a flight at 10:40 am after our last cruise in March and were fine. That being said, we don't go to the seated breakfast, we walk off with our luggage, have private transportation and have TSA pre-check! Even without all of that, we've made flights in the 11:30 am - noon range. If you don't have TSA pre-check or private transportation, I would just plan on grabbing something from the buffet and doing express walk-off with your luggage.

You only need to be at the airport 2 hours before your flight. I'm not sure what your concern is. You could eat breakfast and get on a 9am bus.

1150 should be no problem if you are using DCL bus. You don't need to do walk-off either. Use the Onboard Airline Checkin (I think Delta participates) since the cutoff for that is 1130. Your luggage will easily make it with DCL doing all the work. If you have early seating, go to regular breakfast and when you are done they will let people off. Buses to MCO leave as they fill. So you will get off ship about 730 and by 8 you are your way to the airport. You'll get there by 9 and have plenty of time. Even if you can't do the Airline checkin, grabbing your bags in the terminal doesn't take long at all. You have plenty of time to catch your flight without stressing or rushing.
