I subscribe to Guideposts magazine and they send them to me a couple of times a year. I donated to St Jude's Children's Hospital several years ago and they still send them to me. We've gotten them from Easter Seals and Paralyzed Veterans, also, but never donated to either one.

When my MIL died I threw out an entire shoebox full of labels she'd gotten for free from charities. She had enough for ten lifetimes in there.

I haven't seen a cheque in so long I'd almost forgotten how to spell it the Aussie way lol.

Thankfully most of my bills are payable online so need to hit the post office - which is an awful place to spend time in.

I do too, but along with the jump in one time check only purchases, my mechanic takes cash or check only. At least my kids are out of school, all those field trips are still cash or check only.
