Returing Rental Car

O.K. I'm a Disneyland newbie, and we're visiting before our West Coast cruise next year. We plan on visting San Diego first, so we'll have our rental car from there. I plan on dropping it off before we get on the Magic, so I'm wondering which car rental agency would be the most convient. I saw that Alamo has an office in Disneyland, but where is it in relation to the Grand Californian? We'll be staying there, and trying to decide which rental car company would be the best for an easy return. Does Alamo run a shuttle to/from the DL resorts like they do at WDW? I'm such a WDW expert and now traveling to DL, I'm starting all over again, though I'm SO EXCITED about it!!! Any help would be appreciated!! Just call me the Disneyland Virgin!

Would also like to know if there is a place to drop a rental car near the port and get a shuttle ride back to port. I know that you can do this at Port Canaveral but we have never been out west. Thanks for the help

I think there was a thread about this awhile back. Do a search. I can't even remember what the title was. Hey did you guys post on the cruise meets board. I know one of the threads keeps asking who's going and nobody's posting.

I posted this on the DCL board as well, but I haven't had much luck. We will arrive in So. CA on Monday, spending until Friday at Hyatt Orange Co. (DL). We will board the DCL on Sat. I want to drop the car at DL as well, get a shuttle to port, then to LAX at the end. Any suggestions?

Did you see the thread on the DCL board? Grumbo metioned where to drop off cars in Long Beach? If you can't find it PM me....I'll cut and paste the link for you.
