Lesson learned - when you see something book it!

We finalized our travel dates and I saw they were on the HOJO retro rates. All week I meant to call but my day got away from me. I called on Wednesday but in-house reservations closed 10 minutes before I called. Called Thursday and the dates had been updated and my dates are no longer available. Total bummer.

Happened to us, too. I watched the dates daily and lucked out, they re-posted them a retro rate dates. They do go fast though, snag them while you can!

Oh, that sucks! Hopefully somemofmthe dates will become available again...I booked just over a week ago and may had almost the whole month available. I was able to get it for all 10 of our nights. Yesterday I looked to see what was still available, and there was only 1 date for all of may! They do go fast . Good luck!

I'm looking for one night (May 9) two rooms. I've started looking at other hotel options for that night. I really wanted to try the HOJO because we are going for a full week in October. If it was good for one night I would for sure book for the week.

Same thing happened to me! We decided to go, I was figuring out dates- checked every day for 4 days, finally decided to book and 12 hours after the last check my whole week was gone (actually the rates were there, but the room I wanted- kids suite- was sold out) I had to choose a different week. They do go fast!

Yes, you can do this. Just keep a close watch on when the retro rate for your dates becomes available and then give them a call right away.

Same thing also happened to me! Checked one day and was thrilled to see that almost all of May was available...had to wait a couple of days to confirm exact dates with family members, went back to book it and saw that only one day in May was left. Such a bummer.

Me too!

I also missed out on desert inn and suites 99.00 a night and booked when it was 129.00 a night for the same day.

I just watched 30 bucks a night slip out of my hands.

There were some dates for the first part of June. They have been taken. I'm expecting that June will be a busy month, so while it's not unprecedented, I would be a bit surprised if very many dates show up again for June.

Thanks! I was kind of guessing that... but holding out hope! We are going June 21-28 and was thinking maybe they might throw in a couple mid week days... but of course that's true summer season and w/Cars Land opening I'm sure it's doubtful.

Hi everyone! The retro rates do fill up FAST, so if you see them book them! You can also book rooms for dates you want, and if the retro rate becomes available, give us a call and we’ll be happy to change your rate to the lower rate. Check the website frequently, because you never know when more dates pop up.

Just a heads up -- looked today and the HOJO added a bunch of days in May. My date wasn't there but maybe yours is. Good luck.
