While clearing out DH's grandparent's place we came across some old slides - you can't imagine my excitement when I discovered some of them were from Disneyland!

Apparently my brother in law has found more, so I can't wait to get back there and see those too.

Was this 1980/81? Check out the 5th picture - at the very right hand, you can see a guy smoking. We haven't seen that in CA for a while. And I'd swear that the family in the middle of that picture is mine. Well, it's close anyway.

Yeah my father in law thinks it was 81, so that's what I'm going with, could have been 1980 though with the 25th anniversary stuff. If I were you I'd just say that it's definitely your family, much more interesting that way!

Wow thanks for sharing. I love that shot with the flowers and the lady in the dress. Your family was probably not trying to take a picture of her as she posed (I see she is looking in another direction) but she is just so pretty with that background.

Wow! These are great pics! I'm totally fascinated by the defunct motels and I didn't realize there was a Hallmark Gold Crown store on Main Street. So neat!

My kids are going to think they're very cool when I show them tomorrow. I would have been about 13 at the 25th anniversary. (They like to tease me and ask things like, "Are those from ye old days, when you were a kid and you rode a dinosaur to school?")
