Rethinking my reservations!

We have ressies at Askerhaus for a Sunday night, for my birthday. Just hubby and me. Is he going to be embarrased by all the princesses? I thought he'd be ok, I'm a bit of a princess freak, and they have things like venison on the menu, which I thought he'd love. But I'm starting to rethink my selection. Oh yeah we're old too, so it's not like we'd be with the young crowd. Should I change or just keep this reservation? This one had to be kept with a CC. Help please!:flower3:

Never mind the ages or the princesses. This is your birthday. To me the first question is whether the menu there is the dinner food that appeals to you most, and the second question is whether the atmosphere there appeals to you most. If the answer to those questions is yes, then keep the ADR.

If it's not, there are an awful lot of other restaurants to choose from, especially if you are already going to be in Epcot that day. Every country except the US has a TS restaurant (heck, Italy, France, and Japan each have 2), plus the restaurants at all the Epcot-area resorts are easily accessible by walking or by boat (exit at the International Gateway, at the bridge between the UK and France). An abundance of riches to choose from.

If you are a princess freak and it is your birthday, I say KEEP the reservation. I don't know about your husband, but mine had no problem being surrounded by princesses. :lmao:
If there are things on the menu that appeal to you both - no reason not to try it! You will be at Disney and age has absolutely nothing to do with Dining Experiences. Gazillions of folks of all ages, with or without kiddos, can and do enjoy all the character meals. :goodvibes

If this restaurant makes you happy then keep it! My husband and I ate there for breakfast on our Honeymoon, and the princesses had quite some fun with him. He just kept laughing and blushing, it was great :)

Also when I was there I saw tons of families with no children enjoying themselves. Disney is for everyone, so go and enjoy yourself! :cool1:

Ok so I love venison!!! But I do not see it on the Akerushus menu, where is it????

Not sure where I saw this, but I saw it on a menu somewhere, then I look at a different place and it's not on the menu? Maybe it's the meatballs?

Thanks everyone for your input, I think you're all correct, it's my birthday, I need to enjoy it! Even if the food isn't great, we'll have a great time! Can't wait for this weekend!
