Okay, this is what we have so far as of this moment, actually reserved:
Sunday: (arrival day) Liberty Tree Tavern, 2:00 PM
Monday: Shula's 5:00 PM
Tuesday: Boma 5:00 PM
Wednesday: Le Cellier 1:00 PM
Thurday: (Departure day) No ADRs, but do not have to leave on DME until 4:00
We are staying Sun&Mon at GF, Tues&Wed at AKL
Here is my question / dilemma:
My BF didn't want to plan anything at first, but then became somewhat interested (though not in a freakish, obsessive way like me). After looking through UG, the two restaurants he was most interested in were Le Cellier and Shula's (he is a meat and potatoes man). I had concierge book reservations for each of these, but I would really rather do V&A's than Shula's. I have eaten at Shula's before and I really liked it so I have no problem with eating there again, I just think it would be PERFECT to eat at V&A's while we are staying at GF RPC
.
Soooo... if I change our reservations and just don't tell will he be dissappointed with the food? He isn't into any kind of pretentiousness, and I'm afraid he would think the food too snobby. Also, everything looks delicious, but will I like it? I love to try new things, but I am a picky eater and I have some food allergies.
There you have it. Opinions please: Shula's or V&A's?
