I just applied for the DCP two days ago and didn't realize that there was an area on the dashboard for attachments. Is that for resume? Is there more of an advantage to get a position if you add a resume? I also did not receive a confirmation or thank you e-mail once I applied, is that typical? Thanks in advanced!!

Resumes are not required for the DCP, and likely not even looked at. The Dashboard is used to apply for every position at the company which is why there is some options that are not relevant to you.

I did get a thank you for applying, although it may have gone to your junk/spam folder or might just be backlogged in the system. Your dashboard should say In submission or something.
