ok so i booked disney last sept
i booked hawthorn suites on international drive. then this year the new broshure came out and there were 2 hawthorn suites in the book one just called that and the other hawthorn suites universal. so i thought id better check which one, and i found out it was the hawthorn suites, which is actually next to sea world, not within walking distance to the attractions and food places on i drive, which i found out for myself be researching on line.
but i just thought 'oh well' both had good and bad boints, but from a budget point of veiw both hotels have free breakfast but universal has a 2 hour free drinks reception with snacks and 1 night a week complimentry dinner. and anything that can save me money even better, not hireing a car so being able to walk to i drive is good
this weekend i was going though all my paper work and found the part that tells me the address for imigration for the first night and it was indeed universal hotel, so i called the travel agents and again they called the main office and they insisted i was booked into the other, but i had paper work that said differnt
it was an airtours holiday through thomas cook, i booked the sat, and on the monday was the offical thomas cook take over of what appears to be half the TA's and somehow in this they put in wrong codes and my hotel booking was changed
so today i was given a choice so im getting to stay at the hotel i wanted, and so i should be seeing that its the one i booked, its made me feel better today lol
