Resuable mugs

We use ours every day. I have one at work for my "tea" - at least that's what I tell everyone it is.

My son uses his every day. He also has a Mickey straw that I am washing out constantly! Planning to go back next year and hopefully we can use them again.

this is a little off subject (kinda) but am i the only one that remembers when the mug thing started i was staying at DIXIE LANDINGS, and when we got the mugs the woman told us we could use them everytime we visited there?
i dont know if she was wrong or maybe i misunderstood her so 2 yrs later we packed up the mugs and used them no one said a word but then next time back in disney at pop we got new ones then we heard that they were only for length of stay? but am i crazy or did they change the rule?????

DH and I still uses ours. We love ours. And later on in the months, we'll be using them more by getting pumped up for our upcoming trip.

We first started using refillable mugs in 1988 when the Carribbean Beach resort opened. We were told that these mugs were good for as long as we visited CBR (lifetime use). We always brought them back every year and when they changed the mugs to a different look we used the old ones and CM's would smile and say..."You've been coming here since the beginning haven't you?" I'm not sure when things changed to length of stay. We have cups from all of the All Star's, Pop Century, Wilderness Lodge, Animal Kingdom Lodge, SSR, BCV also.I have two whole shelves in my kitchen devoted to the cups!

We have 4 of them in our camper so we can have our hot chocolate on cool evenings. We have 8 of them in the house. We use them to take drinks to work and drink our hot chocolate in the evenings. We also keep 4 of them in our camper. We using our mugs. It is a little piece of Disney when we are home.

We use ours all the time. We have to buy a new one each trip b/c DH wears them out. He carries his coffee in them every morning.

How much are the mugs?

I think they are around $20 but they are refillable at the resort food court the entire stay. it saves money if you drink a lot from the food court. I think a bottle of pop is $2.50 there now.
We have our cups still and we use them outdoors by the pool to keep bugs out of our drinks. I wish they would change the designs more often though so I could have some new ones and not just keep collecting the same cup. We have two from our honeymoon at carribiean Beach and many from our many stays at Port Orleans french quarter and riverside.

How much are the mugs?

The last mugs I bought were $11.99 each....that was August '06 at POR and also November '06 at POFQ. I haven't heard they went up in price since then. $20 is steep....sure hope that is not true!

they were 11.99 when we got them at Christmas time......I dont think they have gone up that much.....but if they have they are still a good deal for us....

Every time I've bought one for the past several years, it's been in the $12 range. I suppose it's possible they've gone up for 07, but not from $12 to $20?!? Still a decent deal though for me, one drink with breakfast every morning, and one before bed in the evening, and that would still add up to about $30 over the week. Plus you have a souvenir to take home.

When we were there in Feb they were still about $12.

but, it is definitely worth it!

i use mine all the time. anytime that i leave home and am wanting to carry a drink with me, i take my resort mug or a mug that i got from epcot.

i bought another one from the pop it was a different one that have the dreams logo on it and it was blue.
