Hi.
DH and I will be traveling in May with our then 7 1/2 month DD. I was wondering about taking her into restaurants. I know she will probably be able to sit up by then but so far has done things when she was ready. For instance she has been able to roll over for sometime now (she is almost 6 months) but only when she wants to. (My DH didn’t see it for at least 6 weeks, she would only do it for me) We are taking her baby bjorn carrier and a lightweight stroller.
Will we be able to take the stroller into TS restaurants? Whenever we go out to eat now we often end up holding her on our lap. My DH has to end up cutting me meat like I was a kid.
We have been to WDW many times but this is the first with a child. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

When my DD was 6 months, we took her into a bunch of restaurants with her in the stroller since she wasn't great at sitting in highchairs and it worked out fine. I do remember when we would take her stroller into table service places, they would have to find us a table where we could park her, but it was never a problem.

Have a great trip!

We took our twins to WDW when they were 7 months old and it was never a problem to take our stroller right to our table. The best time for a sit-down meal is when your child falls asleep in the stroller! DH and I enjoyed many meals when our twins were that age. However, now they are 3-1/2 and our Disney meals are much different, but still fun just in a different way.

Thank you so much for your replies. Knowing you take the stroller in the TS is one less thing I have to worry about!

Just wanted to add another, you can bring the stroller in. I was really worried about that when DS3 was 7 months old and not sitting yet (he was a sick infant and many of his early motor skills were delayed). Every TS place told us infants that can't sit or those sleeping in the stroller could remain in the stroller. They were all very sweet about accommodating us.

DH and I brought our DS to WDW for the first time last may -- he turned five months old on the trip and, amazingly, learned how to sit up on his own while we were there. Anyway -- I just wanted to add that most of the restaurants we ate at had infant highchairs. They look like this:

He also had no problem sitting in the "regular" highchairs. We had a highchair cover (it's supposed to be used to keep germs off of the highchair, but it also had a velcro "seatbelt" which helped to keep him upright.) The name of it escapes me now, but I bought it on eBay.

We had an easy time bringing our dd's stroller in almost every restaurant. Biergarten was pretty tight because of the table configurations. When she woke up I had to take her out and bring the stroller outside.

Also, you can't bring strollers into the Land Pavilion at Epcot so you won't be able to bring it into Garden Grill if you plan on dining there. I can't think of any other pavilions/lands this applies to.
