Just found out our dd's new stepdaughters will be joining us in Disney for a few days:goodvibes They are 10 and 13. Any suggestions for a resturant they might really enjoy. They are beyondprincess: princess: mode, and would probably like something more:cool1: Probably looking for a late lunch or early dinner. TIA Grammy

I think they might really enjoy the Sci-Fi Dine In at Disney Studios. It is a fun and memorable dining experience!

My daughter, who is also ten and way beyond princess: mode as well, loves The Brown Derby, Cali Grill, Sci Fi, Boma, LTT (lunch), all restaurant's in Epcot, WCC, Tusker House, and Crystal Palace. You might also want to take them to Tea at the Grand Floridian ~ they make you feel special over there :wizard: .
Try finding the menu's for the restaurants on this site and look over them with the girl's, they might enjoy choosing one each! Good luck and have a great trip.

I have three daughters--the oldest is 17 and a big, athletic tomboy--and they STILL LOVE the princess-type dinners.
Want to wow them, take them to CRT. I don't think there is anything much more special. Especially if they have not been to WDW, they will think it is neat to eat in the castle.

When our Liz was that age she just loved the tea at the Grand Floridian. If you have a pickey eater they're more than happy to substitute ham or pb&j for the sandwiches. We get dressed up and make an event out of it even now that she's almost 20!

My DD10's favorite restaurant is Coral Reef. The atmosphere is unique and the food is delicious.

Agree ^^^^ with above poster

My DD11's favorite dinner was Coral Reef. But she also enjoyed the Princess Breakfast at Akershus in Norway b/c she got to meet her favorite princess, Mulan, and she liked Boma as well. But she's quite the adventurous eater. She even loves sushi, but Teppan Edo was under construction on our last visit. We have it on our must do's for this next trip however. Oh, and 1900 Park Fare sounds really fun for that age with Cinderella and Prince Charming with the funny stepsisters.

Thanks everyone for your great suggestions! I will discuss them with dd and see what she thinks. I was also thinking GF Princess dinner might be fun because of the characters, and still get a little princess magic under the guise of fun with the other characters. I think we will also get over to Beaches and Cream for the Kitchen Sink! Keep your ideas coming! Grammy

My DD age 12 loves Coral Reef, Biergarten, Chefs de France (she likes lobster bisque), Sci Fi, and Boma. ::MinnieMo

I agree with the SCI-FI! I think they would love that. Its really pretty cool inside!

Can you involve the girls in the discussion and see what interests them? Point out the DIS menus and some of the pics and theming of the restaurants and see what interests them. (And a nice way to begin their Disney 'conditioning' :rotfl2: )

DD always enjoys restaurants where the servers pick on her and tease her. Her favorites are the Prime Time Cafe at MGM and Whispering Canyon at the WL.

Further down the road we will include them. At this point the trip is a surprise! At least I'll have some ideas as what to present as possibilities. Grammy
