Did anyone that had an outdoor reception in Epcot have trouble with guests going to the restrooms? Are there restrooms designated for guests to use?

I have no idea about bathrooms...just wanted to say we are Disney Hokies too! :)

..Where in Epcot will the reception be? (yes, I might actually be able to tell you where the nearest bathroom is, sad I know..) there are tons.. all the restaurants have them at the least, so if you are having food service with your reception, there will be a bathroom nearby.. they probably aren't going to rope any bathrooms off and put up a sign that says for wedding guests only though, lol!

Really, it depends on what time of day your recption is and where you are. Remember that these are guests areas. For our ceremony it was just the public bathrooms in the UK. Of course our ceremony was prior to the WS opening. However, there were guests still walking around b/c they could come in through the international gateway. I am not sure if the park guests used the bathroom at that time or not. Epcot was WONDERFUL about having our "security" detail there to keep people away from our ceremony location!

thanks for the comments...I am not sure where in Epcot we'll be..I was just wondering if we had to share with day guests or what that was about. I was thinking of doing the reception in the italian courtyard after illuminations but have since changed my mind.

haha sometimes I wish I could rent out the entire park :rotfl:

Cassie,

Disney will rent you the park, you just have to be willing to pay their price. There is another girl who did do a recpetion there after Illuminations. The other option is maybe AAR. That would be more of a "controlled" space.

Thanks
Yeah I was wondering if American Adventure was one of our better choices. I am 85% sure we're choosing August over December. I would have loved an outdoor reception but it's either too hot or too cold. I like the idea of having a building to ourselves. I wish that Illuminations was pushed up to 8pm for one night in its whole existence just so I could do it, lol (still doesnt take that humidity away though, hot hot hot)

American Adventure only had public restrooms out side same ones as park guests.

But it is air conditioned and private. They won't let people linger around, where people could linger if you were outside. I hope that that makes sense. It really depends on if you want to people to see your reception or not, and if you want to pay the money to have a tree wall to block it off. Just a few ideas there.
