What are the restrictions on packing food in your cases? such as snacks, breakfast cereals, washing powder (as daughter has eczema) etc.

We are staying at OKW and don't plan to hire a car until a few days into our holiday and would prefer to bring a few essentials from home which is what we do when we visit Europe.

Is this possible?

If not have registered and started a basket with GardenGrocer so may use them.

We always do this !!
My dd has food alergies so any dried foods we can take we do ! Also take chocolate spread for my ds and coco rocks as he wont eat anything else.

You cant take meat dairy or fresh fruit and veg but everything else is good to go !!

We also take washing powder but tend to buy the capsules for holidays as they come in a sturdier box !!

Hope that helps xx xx

i was also wondering this, we want to take marmite as we love it, do you have to declare food bits anywhere?

You are fine with packaged food - just don't bring fresh fruit, meat, etc.

There is a customs form on entry and it lists what food is prohibited.

I'm taking kellogs individual cereal for DD, pom bears crisps, individual snacks eg little packets of jammy dodgers. Have taken cereal bars in past.

I do DD who is 4 a lunchbox and letting her pick a snack passed the time waiting for parades etc.

We do go to walmart but I found individual packs of snacks were expensive, I get them in pondland here. Only exception are goldfish crackers - DD loves those so stock up in US.

You need to declare all food on the customs form.

We take chocolate & biscuits as gifts. :goodvibes
