Restrictions on FP's - AP with offsite and onsite stays?

Hello DIS friends! This is my first time doing an offsite stay followed by an onsite stay and I am a bit stumped and was hoping you could help.

We have AP's that we will activate on June 20th.

We have a 16-day late June/early July trip coming up. Here's our itinerary:
June 20-26: Offsite, will not be able to book FP's for these until 30 days prior
June 27-June 30: AS Sports, already booked FP's
July 1-5: Swan, already booked FP's
August 29-Sept 2: Coronado Springs, will need to book these 60 days prior

I updated the app and was testing with a mock FP booking for this weekend and got an error message saying the FP limit has been reached. Huh, is this right?

1. Does this mean I won't be able to make FP's for the June 20-26 segment 30 days out?
2. Will I run into issues making additional day of FP's after the initial three are used?
3. Will I be able to make the August FP's in late-June?

Please help! I'd call Disney, but there was another (now locked) thread that talked about the CM's answers being all over the place. So I figured I would ask the experts here.

Thanks for any advice!

Yes it is correct. The FPs you’ve booked for the onsite stays lock you out of booking for the offsite portion. If you have 7 or more pre-booked FP days, the system blocks you from additional FPs when offsite.

You have to delete less important FP days to book for that offsite stay.

You’ll be able to book for your August trip as long as you don’t book any for your offsite portion.

FYI OP, to expound on this, for the case of FP, the Swan stay is also considered "off site"
The clearer way to think of it is Disney owned stay vs a nonDisney owned stay.

Ah, this clears things up for me. Thank you both for your detailed answers.

Good to know for future planning. I might have switched to have the onsite first because now I won't be able to get any same day FP's until the 7th day of the trip. Bleh. :(

Thanks again!
