Restrictions on borrowing more than 50% points

Does anyone know if or when DVC will lift the restrictions on booking a trip limiting members to using more than 50% of borrowed points? Every other year I buy an annual pass and visit 3 times in the calendar year but this requires me to borrow almost 100% of my points in the future year. This restriction is limiting my plans to do this. I understand why they implemented these restrictions, but their resorts have been open for 6 months and members have had the opportunity to use their expiring points by now. Any thoughts?

Personally, I would be surprised if it is lifted before 2022, but definitely be shocked if it was lifted before summer 2021.

Yes, some people have used points, but many are not traveling and banking lots of points into 2021 UYs...so, that is going to overload the system.
