Where can I find the height restrictions for rides? My 5 year old daughter is 51 inches tall and my 4 year old daughter is 46 inches tall. What will they not be able to ride? Are the only restrictions based on height and not age or weight? Since my girls are so tall for their age I want to make sure.

Thanks!

Gracious, they ARE tall! DS is about to be 5 and people always say he's tall, but he's not even 45" yet. then again, no one expected him to be taller, since we're not (OK hubby is 5'10" which isn't short, but since he's the tallest in his family...).

So anyway, you can check out disneyland.com and use the Explore tab to look at the various ride web pages.

But there's not much they'll be restricted on by height! There is no age restriction that I know of, and definitely not weight.

But you'll need to look at the rides and use your best judgment...if no one has been to the parks at all, assuming you're going with another adult, you might want to have one adult go ahead (using Fast Pass or Single Rider, since the kiddoes won't officially qualify for Rider Switch since they'll make the height for most rides) to check out the ride, make sure the theming and the actual ride are OK for them.

Autopia, of all things, is the one that won't let them go alone...I think 52" is the height to drive by yourself (and of course I'm sure you wouldn't let a 5 year old drive alone, LOL). But if she's ready the 5 year old could even do Screamin', b/c the height is 48". Scary, eh? 46" is the height for Indy, but the theming is pretty intense and scary, IMO, for a littler one. Of course that's the one my guy is *yearning* for...won't go on Space Mountain (40") but wants to ride Indy. :rotfl:

HOpefully someone else will give a link to the heights from another site (might even be on the dis info pages at wdwinfo.com), but I always prefer to go to the source.

Children must be age 7 or older to ride alone. Autopia has a minimum of 1 year of age to ride.

Jumpin Jellyfish has a 350 pound total weight.
Orange Stingers have a companion seat for smaller kids and is up to about 250 pounds though there is no limit if you can fit the seat.

At the Redwood Creek Challenge she should be tall enough for everything there.
Smaller riders on Soarin and Jumpin Jellyfish have a loop between the legs that the lap belt goes through so that little kids cannot slip out.
