We are going to Disney World 1/24 - 1/29. And as excited as I am, my DH is a little less so...basically he is going for me and our three girls, but he loves illuminations, so I know there are some resteraunts good for viewing illuminations. My parents are going with us and are willing to watch the girls so we can have an alone night.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks!

I am aware of that has a good view of Illuminations is Rose & Crown. They have latered their request policy making it harder to see Illuminations. Cantina de San Angel is a CS with good viewing. You'll probably have to eb there 60-90 ahead of time and bear the stares for taking lagoon side seats for so long.

Rose and Crown staff seem to get a puss on if you ask to be seated outside to see Illuminations... and often leave those tables empty in the evening... more than once I have got up and walked out for being seated inside while the tables outside are empty. I ask to be seated outside, and they say those are reserved... but no one is seated there now, and I am asking to be seated there... those tables are not available.

Also keep in mind that the way the wind blows, often Rose and Crown ends up being in the smoke... and you have drunks at the bar standing outside.
