okay all you DISNEY EXPERTS . i would like your suggestions on what your fav restraunts are in WDW ...DH -DS15-DD18-AND MYSELF want to try something different. we've eaten at brown derby, hollywood and vine, prime time cafe, sci-fi, pizza planet, crystal palace, the land restraunts, mexico, china, american (cant remember the name) trails end, did the hoopty doo, caseys hot dogs, and that other one at MK (cant remember what its called either...but it was mostly sandwiches.) gepettos, and other fast food places. give me something different please....how about resort restraunts? going day after thanksgiving till the 3rd of dec. so if reservations are required i still have time to book....thanks for any ideas!!!! :hourglass

Your children are old enough to truly enjoy an experience like Citricos now. I recommend that.

Donald's Breakfastasaurus in AK and Liberty Tree Tavern in MK are favorites we've gone to many times. Yes, they're character meals but still great and not too kid-ish.

For something different, try Teppanyaki in Japan in Epcot.

If you go to Yatachman's Restaurant - not an enjoyable experience at all

By the time this thread has ended, you'll probably end up hearing every single restaurant at WDW! :rotfl2:

I liked almost every single place we ate at WDW (except most of the CS ones), but I'll just give you my 2 favorites.

Boma, no question was my favorite of all of them. We actually went twice during our stay because we loved it so much. There's enough on the buffet for picky eaters, but there's also enough different kinds of foods for the more adventuresome to try.

My second favorite... that's tougher. I guess it would be California Grill. While I liked some foods at other places better (Narcoossees for one), the atmosphere couldn't be beat. Maybe I should say my second favorite is a tie between the two -- because the atmosphere at Narcoossees was great too.

My two favorite restaurants at WDW are Le Cellier in Epcot and Liberty Tree Tavern at the Magic Kingdom.

if you like steak, Shulas at the Dolphin is good

I like Cinderalla's Castle for lunch or dinner and California Grill (dessert to die for!!).

Some of our favorite places at the resorts:

Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. A must for us at lunch!

Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club - great steak dinner!

Cape May Buffet at the Beach Club - one of the best buffets at breakfast or dinner.

Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club - whether for just dessert or a sandwhich it is a fun place.

For in the parks we like:

Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom. A nice quiet lunch away from it all or a fun filled character dinner.

LeCellier at Epcot - you totally forget you are in a theme park.

These are our favorites but we always try something new each trip as well.

I will agree with PopDaddy on this one!!!

My BIL does business with an angus beef supplier from here that supplies Shulas with their beef. As a bonus for a favor he did for him the beef supplier along with Mr. Shula treated all of us to a private dinner!!! They put us in two of the private rooms and we were allowed to choose anything off the dinner menu(which is printed on an actual football that Mr.Shula used!! We had wonderful service and all sorts of people were in there to serve us,refill drinks, even one guy that all he did was sweep the crumbs off the table!! We did not see the bill but just with us roughly figuring the tab the group of us(about 20) probably had a bill of several thousand dollars!! The food was OUTSTANDING and we will go again!!

Whispering Canyon Cafe is always fun

thanks for all the suggestions... i think we've decided on BOMA - all i can say is wow! i really never imagined how many restaraunts there are at wdw...
there should be a SMILIE eating! :)
