We are making our first Disneyland trip as a family in November. My boys are developmentally disabled and are inclined to run away. Does anybody remember any restaurants in the parks or downtown Disney area that have booths for sitting options? It's a lot easier on us than a table. We are staying at the GCH so we will not be going offsite. Thanks so much.

Off the top of my head, I can only think of a few - Carnation Cafe, Ariel's Grotto, Flo's V8 Diner (half-booths)...

I am completely drawing a blank on any others. I'll be in the parks over the next few days so I'll pay attention and post what I find if no one else does.

In addition to those mentioned, off-hand I can think of a couple more: Storyteller's Cafe, the lounge and possibly main dining room at Napa Rose, Steakhouse 55, Trader Sam's technically has booths but they are configured in a way that I don't think will work for your purposes. Carthay Circle in certain dining rooms, Cafe Orleans on the inside, I feel like Pizza Port does but don't quote me. Ummm...I think *most* of the restaurants in DTD, Rainforest Cafe, Tortilla Joe's inside for sure...I'll think about it some more and come back if I remember any additional.

We stay at the GCH as well and we know that Storytellers definitely has booths. Very convenient as well since it is located at the hotel. Also, I know for a fact that tortilla joe's and rainforest cafe both have booths since we have sat in them before :)

Pizza Port (overlooking the Space Mtn ramp) has a few booths. There are also a handful of booths in DCA's Starbucks.

The biggest issue is that most of the TS locations that do have booths, only have a few. So if they allow you make the request, you could be looking a substantial wait for one to come available.

On the flip side, I don't recall seeing any booths at Cafe Orleans, Blue Bayou, Cove Bar, Alfresco Terrace, or WCT.

I have made some notes. Thanks so much for all your help. Its good to know where to not plan to eat as well

Are you planning on having stroller(s)? If so does your stroller have a tray they could eat from. This is what we did when our kids were little at Counter Service restaurants. I always carried some wipes to wipe hands and the tray afterwards. Another thought was, My friends swear by a portable strap in booster seat when they travel as their autistic son is a runner also. I am sorry I do not know the name of it but they found it on ebay, it is easy to carry (folds up in a bag) and it goes over the back of a chair to keep it in place and then buckles the child in.
I hope you all have the most Magical time!

Tortilla Joes in DTD has booths.
And of course, margarita's! ;)

Hope your family has a wonderful trip!
