Restaurants with Best View of Parades in WDW

Are there any restaurants on Main Street in WDW that have a good view of the parades??

Hmmm, not really for the parades. When you are in a restaurant you are seated. A wall of standing people separates you and blocks your view of the street almost completely. Unless someone has a secret they would like to share. Fireworks are slightly different because they are high up so people in front of you aren't really a factor unless you are trying to get a silhouette of the castle or something. For the parades, if you want a good view you are better off staking out a spot. We don't wait an hour. We always watch from Frontierland and usually find somewhere right against the rope about 15 to 20 minutes before the parade comes through.

Thank you so much for your reply. I will probably have a load more questions before we go. We have our kids in tow this time, so want to cut waiting times for parades etc where possible!!

Ask as many questions as you need to. When you get back, you will then be able to help someone else (after having had a better trip for all your knowledge).

How old are the children and are they boys or girls?

You could try Tony's Town Square - but you would need to be out on the terrace and I would imagine it would be pretty hard to get a table there to coincide with the parade times.

Thats so strange that you have asked this question as some friends of ours popped in today and asked us the same thing.
We pretty much told them what you have been told, that being that there isn't really anywhere on Main Street that would accomodate what you are after.
