i am making reservations for our trip in may....we are staying at the poly and will probably only do the magic kingdom and MGM....so what rest. can you recommend in those parks or poly.....or near them. we booked a bfast with pooh and i am thinking of other character meals...any help. i just want to make sure that our daughter is happy whereever we go ??

Since your staying at Poly why don't you try the character breakfast at Ohana w/ Lilo, Stitch, Goofy & Mickey. Also Ohana is great for dinner too. I don't really like the CS reataurants in MGM too much, but some like Toy Story Pizza Planet. For table service 50's prime time is good and for a really good meal Hollywood Brown Derby, but it's expensive. Good CS at MK would be Cosmic Ray's or Columbia Harbour House. I see your already going to Crystal Palace which is very nice too. At the Poly alot of people like Kona Cafe, I've never eaten here becuase we usually just do Ohana. Is she too little for princesses yet? Cinderella Royal Table might be better when she is a couple years older. My DD loved it though and she was 3 last trip. Hope this helps. Enjoy the poly! We are staying there in September, can't wait.

We took our DD for the 1st time at 15 months. We made ADR's at Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary Resort which she loved.

At MGM, we went to the Sci-Fi, which didn't keep her interest as much as the characters, but she still was in awe.

Though we've never been there but the Poly has a breakfast with Lilo and Stitch and MGM has characters at Hollywood and Vine also. Good Luck!

Has your daughter ever seen characters up close? My kids were scared at that age. You might want to consider this before scheduling a lot of character meals.

:wizard: We took our daughter to dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern for Minnie's character meal in the Magic Kingdom when she was about 18 months old and she loved it. It is not a buffet, they bring the food to your table family style and the different characters come around to each of the tables. Because the customers stay seated it is a lot less chaotic than a buffet especially for a little one. By the way....the adults all loved the food and thought it was a great experience.
