Restaurants to avoid?

Our worst meal at WDW was about five years ago. There was nothing good about it. I am usually one to give a second chance as any place can have an off day, but the food was just brutal.

The restaurant..... Mama Melrose's

There are others that I'm not rushing back to, but that's the only one that I've actually "black listed". :drinking:

I would rather eat at Mama Melrose's than at Tony's!

The last time we were down there I had to change with DD since my lasagna reminded me of Dog Food!

Try having a Sangria with your meal at Mama's, may help you enjoy it better!

Mama Melrose's also serves Bellinis....so it can't all be bad! We ate there in 203 and found it slightly above average. Not outstanding, not horrible either.

I will be avoiding the Plaza on Main Street, I got food poisoning from a salad there....I still cringe from the feeling.

Everytime we claim we are never returning some place, we always give it another shot and find something we like.

In our case we always go back to the places we enjoy to eat at. If we encounter a bad scenario we deal with it on that day and I guess that's that. All I can share are the restaurant we love... Like:
Fulton Crab House we always look for Dimitre or Rose best service.
Hollywood and Vine but they dont do lunch anymore so we have not been there lately plus our fave waiter named Bill was transfered to a restaurant in Fort Wilderness lodge .. that I need to try; Crystal Palace is always on our list- affordable price, good variety and bright happy atmosphere.
I did enjoy Garden Grill but experience motion sickness but thatys all my complain there.
Liberty Tree Tavern - love the food and the service and the Characters was very accomodating with inpatient nephews.
Ohana - Heard about the view plus the extra attarction other than the rack ribs was the EWP and the fireworks. This April will try this one but I added it my list coz I know am going to like it.
Shoot I forgot this one but it is the restaurant in Animal Kingdom where they do Donald and Friends... Love that too good service price matches the food!

Next trip will try: The Clam Bake and California Grill and Boma :cloud9:

Went in February and had excellent meals at Pinnocchio haus, Crystal Palace and Concourse steakhouse. Not as impressed with California Grill. food was too rich for my cranky tummy!!! :sad2:

We love Chef Mickey although we had one bad experience
The mexican place yes aweful.
Backyard BBQ aweful cold food.
Alfredo's was aweful as well. Keep in mind when making decisions a lot of this as others have mentioned depends on you and your family and the day you go. Whatever you do enjoy the experience. :earsboy:
