I know this is an odd question, but one of my mother's pet peeves at WDW is that "none of the table service restaurants serve bread with the meal". This occurred at two places in one trip, the Brown Derby and Captian Jack's. Since then, everytime we take her WDW, bread at the table becomes a constant (annoying) topic.
The past two trips, I was able to dodge the issue by planning buffet dinners and Tepan Edo or sticking to counter service. We are FL residents and usually take short trips, so this has been managable. However, our next trip will be for a week in September and it is proving to be more difficult to plan meals. As much as I love my DM, after listening to her complain that she didn't get bread at ____________ restaurant for the better part of a week, I will start contemplating dropping her off at the lost parents booth.
I have a gastric band and I can only eat a small portion of food at a meal. So I don't like to eat at a buffet because the value isn't there (no leftovers!). Mom isn't adventurous regarding dining, so my restaurant choices are limited to American/Seafood/Steaks.
So my question to the wonderful Disboard community is . . . Which TS service restaurants customarily serve a bread basket of some sort with the meal? Knowing this odd detail in advance will make me and DH have a much more magical trip in September.
