In a week we(wife, 5yo and 1yo girls and me) will be at MK (2 days), HS and AK. :woohoo:
They will go to Epcot as part of the convention activity for wives.

In our trips to Disneyland we have always stayed at the Best Western in front of the main gate, leave the park at 2-3 pm
have lunch, some rest and come back to the park with the FPs -by the way I learnt all of this here, god bless this forum.

Now in Orlando we will have lunch in the parks but my wife doesn´t like the food there.
Which will be good places to have lunch in those parks and surprise my wife?
Thanks!!

Here is some counter service options as I don't believe you will be able to get in a sit down restaurant this late

Magic Kingdom
Cosmic Rays - Have several bays so you can get hamburgers sandwiches, we love the roasted chicken and rib platter me and my husband can share.
Columbia Harbor House - Fried Shrimp, Fresh Tuna Sandwich, Fried Fish, Soups, Lobster Roll not your standard them park fare
Sleepy Hollow - Waffle Sandwiches - Haven't tried them yet but sound delicious and have been getting good reviews

Animal Kingdom
Flame Tree Barbecue - Excellent ribs, Pulled pork and roasted chicken
Pizzafari - Hot Italian Sandwich (love it), Salads and Pizza

Hollywood Studios
Min & Bills Dockside Diner - Italian Sausage and Ceaser Salad Sandwiches they hollow out the bread and put the sausage or Ceasar Salad in they were yummy

Starring Rolls Cafe
Good Large Sandwiches and wonderful desserts and cupcakes

Epcot
Sunshine Season - big sandwiches and variety love their desserts
Food and Wine Festival booths

If you want a table service you might be able to get a walk up at these for lunch

Magic Kingdom
Tony's Town Square
Plaza Restaurant
Liberty Tree Tavern

Animal Kingdom
Yak & Yeti - Love there wonton dessert

Hollywood Studios
Brown Derby but it is fairly expensive

I am not sure what you mean by your wife not liking the food there. WDW has such diverse places to eat that there must be something that she would find appetizing. Also don't forget that Food & Wine Festival is going on and you might want to check that out one evening if you have Park Hoppers.

Don't give up on TS restaurants if that is what you want. I have been checking day of ADRs each day just to see what is available and this morning there were 57 places that still had dinner res available. I even saw Le Cellier dinner ADRs for two days early next week

If you don't have an itinerary planned out ahead you can make ADRs online or call the dining number the night before or morning off when you know what park you will be going to that day.

For MK - consider eating at one of the monorail resorts to give your family a break from the park. I saw a Chef Mickeys ADR for 1:50 pm on 10/21. I don't think you would have a problem getting a table at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian Resort in the middle of the day. If you want to stay in the park I would suggest The Crystal Palace would be fun for your girls. Liberty Tree, Plaza Restaurant and Tony's may also have availability.

For HS - I would highly recommend 50's Prime Time Cafe or Sci-Fi Dine in Theater.

For AK - Tusker House or Yak & Yeti

jodywgirl and WSLover thanks for your suggestions.

At AK we had lunch at Yak & Yeti and both liked it.
At Epcot they had lunch at the Italy upscale restaurant and she liked it very much.
At MK and MHS my wife decided on the places based on what she saw at the tables. I don´t remember the names but the food was ok.

In general, I think my wife changed her opinion on food at the parks. :thumbsup2
