Are you looking for character meals? Buffets? In the theme parks, or in the resorts or Downtown Disney? Are you adventurous eaters, or more meat-and-potatoes? Do you like ethnic/international dining?

Sorry for all the questions, but there are dozens of restaurants on WDW property, and it's hard to advise without knowing more about what you're looking for. "Nice" could apply to about 50 different restaurants. :-)

I'll give you some of my favorites. For breakfast, hands down it's Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. For lunch, I love the Grand Floridian Cafe at GF, or Kona Cafe at the Poly. If you're wanting to eat in a theme park, Chefs de France in Epcot is excellent.

Anyone can make ADRs at a Disney restaurant, in the parks OR the resorts, whether you're staying there or not. Make your ADRs by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Unfortunately, it's not a toll-free call.

Try Kona Cafe in the Polynesian for breakfast. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere and location are beautiful. Try Tonga Toast - it's the most popular dish!

For dinner you might want to try Boma, in Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a buffet with African-inspired dishes, most of which are very easy for picky Americans to love.

My favorite dinner in all of WDW is 'Ohana, in the Polynesian. It's a family-style place (which means all you can eat, but they bring it to you). The menu is fixed, with the main courses being meats (steak, turkey, pork, and shrimp) grilled on an open BBQ pit and brought to you on skewers. 'Ohana also has the best dessert in all of WDW, a bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and bananas Foster sauce. If you try 'Ohana, make sure you're HUNGRY before you go!

This page might help you decide; it lists menus from every WDW restaurant, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with prices.

Bon apetite!
