Restaurants on the DDP

I noticed when perusing the 2007 DDP flyer that I downloaded (PDF) that there were certain restaurants not listed as being part of the DDP. Some of these restaurants (all in Epcot) are the Marrakesh, Nine Dragons, and Mitsukashi. I'm sure there are others. It would be a bummer if they are no longer in the DDP. Right now, I am going over the menus of the different restaurants that I may try to get ADRs for and I especially wanted to try the Marrakesh. :sad2:

I also have Birnbaum's 2007 Dining Guide and they have listed those above restaurants as being part of the DDP. I would tend to consider the DDP flyer as more up-to-date but am puzzled as to why these restaurants are not part of the plan. Also the flyer lists the Turf Club at Saratoga Springs as a participant but Birnbaum's doesn't. :confused3

Should I take the DDP flyer as being the final authority as to which restaurant is or is not a DDP participant? I would guess the answer is yes but it begs the question as to how often are restaurants placed on or removed from the dining plan.

The brochure is updated as the plan progresses. Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki is going down for an extensive 5-6 month rehab in January, so have been guessing that is a big part of it's decision not to be a part of the DDP this year.

:wave2: When recently planning our 2007 trip, I thought the list of participating places on the "official" Disney website must be correct & up to date. Happily, I was wrong! There are several places that are participating in the 2007 DDP that are NOT listed on the Disney PDF downloadable list. I ended up calling Disney Dining was was so happy to hear that all of the places we want to dine are, in fact, on the DDP! Just do what i did-make a list and call. Good luck!

Thanks. I'm going to WDW in March and will follow with a trip in October. Hopefully, I could be eating Japanese then.

That's reassuring. I'll do that---make a list and call. Thanks.
