We are considering staying off property for our next trip. We have always had the dining plan (free) before and have LOVED the piece of mind that we get since they treat food allergies so seriously. Disney World was our first vacation that felt like a vacation. We'll still do a few character meals at Disney, but won't be doing all meals since the Disney restaurants are pretty $$$ when you aren't in the dining plan.
Looking to find some other restaurants that will have good food and handle a dairy free, tree nut/peanut free and wheat free diet for a more reasonable price.
I'm hoping for something other than..."we can give him a hotdog without the bun" type restaurant.
