I think it is called the Crossroads..right outside the entrance area to WDW near Downtown Disney. Anyway, there is a Taco Bell, Olive Garden, TGI Fridays and a fewe others I am forgetting. Just stay away from Jungle Jims. This area is very convenient if you ask me. There is also a Chick-Fil-A near on the other side of I-4.

Hi Brooke1!

Will you have a rental car while at Disney? If you will, then you have several great options!

If you start at Downtown Disney, head down Hotel Plaza Blvd. to SR 535. Turn right on 535 pass under the I 4 overpass and on the left side about 1/2 mile up, there is a Wendy's, Chik Filet, Benigans. Across the street there is a Landrys, LoneStar Steakhouse. At the corner of 535 and Vineland, there is a Bahama Breeze, and right next door a olden Corral (which is a great buffet style place, the food is good, the prices are reasonable)

Your other options would be from Hotel Plaza Blvd. Go strait at the signal and cross over 535. This is the CrossRoads Shopping Center. Here you will find a TGIFridays, Pizzeria UNO, TacoBell, Perkins,McDonalds,RedLobster. There is also a Goodings SuperMarket in this plaza, but the prices are much higher than other markets.
Just down the other way on 535 from Hotel Plaza is a Pizza Hut,Dennys, and a Sizzler. There is also an Orlando Ale House right behind the 7-11 that has great food and a good childrens menu. (the grilled chicken sandwich is really good)the pricea are good too.

You can really stretch your meal budget while at WDW by eating a few meals off property.
Hope this helps!

Which resort are you staying at? If you are at AKL or the All-Stars, Hwy 192 is real close, and you can find just about anything you want there.

As a general rule, I personally avoid Hwy 192 at all costs. Very crowded, and the restaurant prices are higher due to the amount of tourist traffic here.
The restaurants off 535 and further out like Sand Lake Road, also cater to us locals. The prices are a tad lower and the traffic is not nearly as congested. JMO

I second that Christmas Elf! WE love the restaurants on Sand Lake especially the Samba Room. There is also a great deli TooJays. If you go order the cake sampler. Three or four(cannot remember how many but it was huge) pieces of their delicious cake for only 5.99!! You get to choose. If you go to Samba Room use the Orlando Magic card for 5.00 off each entree purchased.

Well if you go down hotel boulevard towards the crossroads and turn left there are restaurants down there and one of my favorites is right next to a post office. Great for mailing Post cards and catching a nice meal. Steak n Shake is there and my mom who is picky likes it there.

Now if you turn right instead and go to the end and take a left you will hit Midevil Times and another Steak n Shake and a Super Walmart and a few other fast food places.

I am with the other poster stay away from Jungle Jims but right next door is the Marble Slab Ice Cream Company and they have some good ice cream nice after a round of mini golf at the place in the back of the crossroads.

Hope this helps.

Seemed like there was a Waffle House close in there somewhere (???)
