I go to WDW several times a year and always pretty much use the DxDDP or occasionally the basic DDP. In fact, I have not gone without the DDP or DxDDP in several years, not since the DDPs first came out. For my Sept/Oct trip I am seriously considering getting out of my comfort zone and not doing any DDP and paying OOP instead. I am not a big fan of CS restaurants, but do have a few favorites (Sunshine Seasons, Tangeriene Cafe, WGP Express)--not a fan of burgers or sandwiches of any kind. I try to do mainly TS restaurants down there and would like to try alot of restaurants that being on the DDP I don't normally get to eat at. So my question is does someone have a list of the restaurants that do not take the DDP? and what are some good out of the way restaurants that I may not have tried in the past? I'll be solo, so am not interested in dining at Victoria and Albert's but would be open to anything else.
Also I have an AP, but since most of my trips are solo and I normally use the DDP, I'm not sure the TIW would be a good deal for me. I know some of the restaurants give an AP discount. How much would I need to spend to make the TIW worthwhile though and what restaurants do not take it?
