Restaurants near the Air Canada Centre??

We are going to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra this Wednesday at ACC and would like to have a nice (but not through-the-roof-costly!) dinner before, then walk to the ACC. Any suggestions? We thought of the Royal York Hotel..there's a Benihana there and a couple of others but no idea what they're like??

Any tips would be great!

There's a number of chain restaurants close to the ACC:

Jack Astors
East Side Marios
Shopsy's


Also, if you like steak, Harbour 60 is also very close (but it is an expensive meal).


For those on an extreme budget, there's a MacDonalds and Harvey's inside Union Station.

Whenever my Dad & I go to a Leafs game on a Saturday night, we like to either go to Casey's Bar & Grill or another place called Armadillo. Both are on Front Street, so they are within walking distance of the Air Canada Centre.

My favourite restaurant to go to is Joe Badalli's, it is on Front St. If you are looking straight at the Royal York, it is one block to the left on the same side as the Royal York.

They have a nice selection of wine by the glass, we like to sit at the bar and order appetizer's and have some wine. The restaurant is huge and the menu is fantastic! Sometimes we drive into Toronto from St. Catharines just to have a relaxing dinner there.

If you go down to the Esplanade there is Scotland yard whic DH loves, also the old spagetti factory but we found when went to it last our server was horid and the pasta was overdone. Up on Younge street near the hockey hall of fame in BCE place in Marche, it good yet a bit expensive.
