Are there any restaurants near the Radisson? I'm not real worried about dinner the night before because I plan to drive around Cocoa Beach but what about breakfast the day of your cruise? My husband loves breakfast and a continental breakfast won't cut it with him! Are we going to have to go back into Cocoa Beach?

I saw this question and thought "This would be a great question for Dave". Please click this link to Dave's DCL Tribute website, it will list most (if not all) of the restaurants in the area. I hope this helps!!

Thanks! I've looked at Dave's site many times but never got to that page. Very helpful!!!

Yep, I do indeed have the nearby restaurants listed on the page mentioned. For your DH's breakfast, head to Zachary's. They have an extensive breakfast menu. He'll have no complaints!

I wanted to comment about the rest. at the Radisson. We had the breakfast there on our last trip. It is a buffet breastfast and that's it! No option to order just a bowl of cereal. My DS(8) was SO excited that he had an upset tummy, and couldn't eat. Of course I found this out AFTER we ordered the buffet! After going though the buffet line and not picking up anything, I fixed him a peice of toast, which he ate 2 bits of (we saw those two bits later but that's another story;) ) I explained to the waitress that he was not feeling well and I hoped that she would take his charge off the bill. She did not.I guess I could have made an issue but he did order it and did eat something. I guess I was expecting a "Disney Like" attitude. That said, the rest of us did enjoy the breaskfast. The selection was ok and the food was fair. Will we eat there again this year? Probably not.Since we have the Suite I think I will just bring some cereal and milk from home and save the $.

Zachary's is the Greek American restaurant next door to the Radisson and was recommended to us as having a great breakfast menu. We didn't get breakfast there (saved our appetites for the welcome aboard buffet) but did have dinner there the night before. It seems to be quite popular, and is very much within walking distance.

Last week on the evening before our April 7th WONDER cruise we ate at a seafood dive or shack called Crab Heaven which doesn't look like much from the outside but had great seafood. It was just down the road from the Radisson but before you get to Ron Juan's surf shop. For breakfast before the cruise, we just had a donut from the Dunkin Donut shop since we were saving our appetite for the Embarkation Buffet.

Last May we found ourselves hungry around 10PM so we drove to Perkins Pancake House. It was empty but the food was good. They were about to close but they did not rush us out and they even make a pot of fresh coffee for my one cup.
The morning of the cruise we ate at the Raddison, and I ordered just a bowl of cereal and I was not charged the buffet price.
