Restaurants near Orlando Airport

Has anyone dined at the McCoys restaurant in the Hyatt? How is the food? We have a Macaroni Grill and Chilis locally so we wanted to try something different. The Macaroni Grill is always good though.

We dined at McCoy's the night before our 7/22 Cruise. It was reasonable, the food was pretty good, and the service was good, as well. I would recommend it. You won't get anything "to die for" but I think for 4 hearty meals for a family of 4 it was $40, including tax and tip (no alcohol or dessert, though)

$2.00 first 1/4 mi
$0.25 1/8 mi
$22.50 hr waiting

As a guess the trip to Walmart would be $13-14 Plus tip each way.

The Lynx bus (Orlando) system runs a regular route from level 1 on the B side of the airport up 436/Semoran past the Walmart. . . .
This is why I love these boards, the people are so helpful! :thanks: :thanks: Kississimee for your elaborated reply that will be so helpful to me. I've printed it out so I don't forget. You were very kind to post the links and the maps, just what I needed. And the information on the buses also will help a lot. Thanks again!! :cool1: :thumbsup2 :wave2:

hello - those maps are fantastic - I am looking for a map that will take me from MCO Hyatt to Downtown Disney - and while on that way - need a store to get water and a liquor store... can you help with that? :confused3

Sorry I'm not a drinker so I don't know where the liquor stores are.

City bus service between Disney and the airport is possible but is designed to be inconvenient so as not to compete with the Tourist industry.

Reminds me of NYC where the Taxi companies block subway service to the airports

You can call Lynx and they can tell you which busses to take and if it is possible.

If you have broadband INTERNET and are still using a traditional long distance phone company try downloading Skype. They are offering totally Free calling in the US on your PC. Just have to buy a $5 headset with boom mike to make it work. I have found that when you call a businesses local number instead of their 800 number you often get faster service and with Skype its cost free.
