Restaurants in Downtown Disney

What is your favorite restaurant in Downtown Disney? We're not big fans of the Rainforest Cafe so what else do you like? How is Portobello's?

Portobello is wonderful...I hear that they are only open for dinner now though. Haven't been there to confirm this.

We have eaten mostly at House of Blues, Planet hollywood (LA lasagna and cobb salad..wonderful), and we love rainforest cafe (appetizers, salads and ribs).

Love, love, love House of Blues! Wonderful menu with huge appetizers. Great flavors with lots of extra kick!

Also liked Bongos (Cuban) and Fulton's (seafood). Check out DTD West Side which includes Wolfgang Puck's restaurant and express cafe. Lot's to choose from!

I also like Portabello's. Been there a few times and it was always good. Last time when I took dd to WDW myself she spent a few hours at the Cub's Den while I had some adult time.

I wanted to have time to shop at DD so I sat at the bar at Portabello's and had dinner and was in and out of there in a half hour so I had lots of time to shop.

Dh and I have eaten at Captain Jack's a few times and it was pretty good, haven't been there lately though.

I know Captain Jack's is not a popular choice, but we thought the food and service was good. It sits right on the lake, so the view is spectacular.

I have to give another thumb's up for Portabello's. This is my favorite restaurant in all of Disney. I love the baked garlic that they bring out first with the fresh Italian bread. My mouth is watering right now thinking about it.

I consider Captain Jacks one of the hidden gems of WDW.
While not as fancy as some of the other restaurants, the food is always very good and fresh.

Portobello yacht Club
House of Blues
Bongo's

So surprising -- I use to LOVE RFC. Now it's -- oh RFC. So many good choices at WDW!
We have put Bongo's and HoB on our regulars list. But we haven't tried Puck's yet.

My vote is for Bongo's. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, and most importantly .....great margaritas !!!!!
Based on what we have heard and read, we will also be trying Fulton's, Wolfagang Puck's and maybe HOB.

My fave rest. has to be Wolfie's!! The food is spectacular, they always have a stupendous fish dish, my son loves his sirloin steak and their pizzas are to die for!

I've eaten at House of Blues twice recently and really like it. Great food, a lot of variety, large seating area, and the best music I've heard at a restaurant! (They don't hold their concerts in the restaurant; I'm just talking about what they play over the speakers.) You won't go away hungry, especially if you get the Jambalaya! No problem with service either.

Portobello Yacht Club is one of our favorites, we eat there on every Disney trip!
On our most recent trip we also enjoyed Captain Jacks, excellent food, great service and the view is just lovely!

Another vote for the House of Blues! Great food, great atmosphere. We have tried many different things on the menu and have always loved everything. It's a "must do" on every trip.
