Hi everyone!

We will be staying on property as a family for the first time this Christmas week. We'd like to take advantage of any special meals/restaurants at Boarwalk, but I don't think there are any restaurants at BWV? Am I right about this?

Thanks in advance!

Oh! There are oodles of wonderful restaurants in the BoardWalk area. The hotel itself doesn't have a restaurant, but down on the BoardWalk, there are many: Spoodles, The Flying Fish (the yummiest!), ESPN Club, Big River Grille. Then, in walking distance, you can go over to the Yacht and Beach Club for all the restaurants over there (Yachtsman Steakhouse, Beaches and Cream, Cape May to name a few).

I can recommend Flying Fish for a "nice" dinner. (It's a little formal, but my DS -- age 5 then -- did great there!) We enjoy Big River Grille, but sit out on the BoardWalk to eat. It's too much like Applebee's or Chili's inside. We also like to walk over to YC/BC to eat hamburgers and ice cream at Beaches and Cream.

You'll love BW. It's my "home away from home." (DVC)

When we stayed at BWV last December there were a couple nights with constant torrential rain. There was a guy at the front desk complaining that there were no restaurants "in the hotel", that he had to go out in the rain to reach a restaurant. They should have built some inside entrances within the hotels to the restaurants.

He could have ordered room service. Flying Fish and Spoodles both deliver via room service. Ain't cheap, but if you are complaining about a little rain, you may want to pay for room service.

Go to Boardwalk Inn and Villas. Complete list of restuarants. You may want to check out the restuarants at the Yacht and Beach Club and at the Swan and Dolphin as well as both are within walking distance (as are the Epcot and MGM resturants if you have park admission).

We stayed in BWV last month- you're going to love it!! There are many restaurants on the BW, and another thing is that you are soo close to Epcot, you could walk over to any of the WS restaurants to eat.
