Has anyone used one of these yet? I'm wondering if alcohol is included in the $35 you need to spend to use the certificate.

Nope, sorry, minimum $35 food only.
But really, if there are at least two adults present, it isn't that hard to hit $35 on the food.

Thanks for the information. Just trying to decide if we were going for snacks and drinks or dinner - guess it will be dinner!

I'm debating between the $25 or 50 gc. 2 Adults / 2 Kids could we hit $85 (35 out of pocket) with desert, etc?

yes, $85 on 2ad/2ch is going to be fairly simple if you:
-make sure the adults order steaks or seafood and stay away from entree salads or sandwiches/burgers
-order at least one appetizer and at least two desserts for everyone to share
-order each child their own kids' meal

If you have older kids (10+-yr-old-boys, for example), and they order off the adult menu (burger or ribs or whatever) then it is even more likely.

Used one a couple of months ago and yes, the alcohol was included. If they've stopped including it, that may be a new thing.

No, they haven't changed the policy. I called today and asked, the man I spoke with was very familiar with the certificates so I trust his word.

We used it last month....no alcohol included BUT we went at Happy Hour 3-5. Apps were half off and drinks were on special. 2$ domestics and I think there were mixed drinks as well.

that's good to know as we plan to take an afternoon break and eat an early dinner before heading back to the parks..not sure if we should get the $25 or $50 g.c. :confused3 There are 2 adults and 3 kids. If my n-laws come along can we each use our own g.c. ...will they give us separate checks?

You can't be seated at the same table and use two restaurant.com certificates. Better just to buy a larger denomination one.

I just started a thread asking questions about the HOB GC. On it, I learned that for the $50 GC you have to spend $100. For the pp who said $85, you might want to check again.

(35 out of pocket)

My understanding is that for the $25 certificate, you have to spend at least $35. Meaning that if your bill was exactly $35 you would spend $10. Is that not correct?

They don't mean you have to spend $35 out of pocket, do they?

Was at HoB in October and alcohol was icluded in teh tab price :thumbsup2 the server was specific about including that tidbit

You spend $35 and get $25 off. Then they also tack on gratuity, so it will be more than $10 out of pocket, make sense?

First time there for us and we loved it!

That's what I thought but I read some of the other posts and got confused. Thanks.
