Wow...this really shows how many restaurants there are at the world. This is a first for me. I've only been to Le Cellier out of that whole list. lol It is awesome! Keep asking for more pretzel bread, and order the filet mignon. My hubby ordered a NY strip the last time we were there. It was still good, but the filet just melts in your mouth, and he totally tried to steal my dinner. We also had the appetizer trio. It was sooo good. We used the cheese soup on it for dipping our pretzel bread.

I have only been to a few of these:
Le Cellier, all time favorite, you can't go wrong here.
Tusker House is decent, and convenient in the park. We do prefer Boma at the lodge over Tusker House.
The Plaza, great sandwiches! One of our favorites for a light meal.
Your other adr's look good!

We have eaten at PH a few times and it was ok but the food at Raglan Road or House Of Blues is much better.

I haven't tried Garden Grill, Hollywood and Vine, PH, Plaza, or Park Fare.

Le Cellier was excellant. Some say the food is too salty but I use very little salt and didn't think the food there was too much at all.

I loved Tusker house breakfast, the buffet is large and even my super picky for breakfast husband found stuff to eat there. Characters were also great.

I have only done Crystal Palace for dinner but I loved it. The characters were great our server was excellent and we had a blast. I'm trying this for breakfast in Sept.

Chef Mickey I have been to twice. Its ok and is a character meal but honestly almost the same characters are at Tusker house and I thought it was WAY better. It was my only character meal my first trip so I thought it was good and that is why I went again the second time but now that I have done Tusker House and Crystal Palace I doubt I'll ever go back.

I hate raining on anyones parade, but it is a message board - and you did ask:goodvibes
The Garden Grill(supper)- this to me is one of the worst meals in the world. The character interaction is good, so if that is important to you- then this might be a good pick. Personally, i think the food here is beyond bland and there are just so many better options in Epcot. I noticed you have chef mickey so you will get to see him there (but the interaction will be better here most likely). I would choose one of these and not do both.

Le Cellier (Lunch)- it's a fine lunch. You will most likely enjoy.

Hollywood and Vine(Supper)- i have never done dinner. I have done breakfast with the characters and it was fine. Lunch was probably another one that made the list of the worst places in disney i have dined. However, if you are set on doing the fantasmic package, i am sure it will be fine for what it is.

Tusker House(Breakfast)- i really like tusker house. Personally, i like the flavors for lunch better just for a change of pace. But overall, great choice.

Crystal Palace(Breakfast)- a must do for us- the french toast puffs are my favorite.

Chef Mickey's(supper)- eh, but i think we probably differ in the sense i am not huge into buffets. Once again, i guess it is fine for what it is, but would you consider doing the Wave or something like that if you want to be at the contemporary, or Kona? Like i said, very similar to garden grille.

Planet Hollywood(supper) - another one that i would pass in the sense it is nothing special, but if you have the coupon, i know where you are coming from. Personally if i were at DTD, i would go to Raglan, Bongos or Wolfgang Puck

The Plaza(supper)- great little place for burgers, and sandwiches. Slow service, but sometimes that is a nice thing after a day of rushing. Great icecream desserts.

1900 Park Fare(supper= never done. Good luck!

We have been to Le Cellier for lunch and loved it. Very tasty!

Chef Mickey's-w have been twice for dinner. I know a lot of people don't like it, but we have always eaten well there and the carved meats were good. We timed our meal so that we could walk out after and watch the fireworks frm the CR balcony.

Hollywood and Vinewe have done as part of the Fantasmic package. Worst meal of our trip-nothing stood out and it was boring.

I hope you have a wonderful trip!!

Le Cellier (Lunch) - we had a great lunch here

Hollywood and Vine(Supper) - nasty...we will never eat here again

Crystal Palace(Breakfast) - awesome choice, great food and lots of fun

Chef Mickey's(supper) - terrible..we love breakfast here but will never go back for dinner

Planet Hollywood(supper) - its ok, like a TGIF or Chilis but with atmosphere

The Plaza(supper) - very good, love the fries

1900 Park Fare(supper) - another horrible place...the 4 of us left hungry (yes the food was that bad)

We have found the buffets (dinner) to be of low quality, overly salty and just not worth the money

I just made all our reservations yesterday for our trip in April. We are staying at Poly and made reservations for a few nights in Epcot... is that too far to travel over with small children?

This is what I've booked- all dinners: If anyone has an opinion good or bad I would love to hear it, or another suggestion. Thanks!

Crystal Palace
Coral Reef
Chef Mickeys
Tepen Edo
Ohana
Cinderella's Royal Table
1900 Park Fair
Tutto Italia
Tony's Town Square

My family loves Garden Grill and we make it a point to go there every trip. Yes, the food is basic American, but it is so fresh and tasty, and there's plenty of everything. We think it is so much fun to get to eat the food WDW grows in the gardens and fish farms of the Living with the Land ride. We enjoy the revolving restaurant with its scenery. Characters here (Chip and Dale, Mickey, and sometimes Minnie and Pluto) seem to spend more time with kids here than they do in other restaurants, and they come back around often.

It's a shame Garden Grill only does dinner now, as we used to love breakfast here!

I almost did Garden Grill but didn't know much about it. Hmmm.... maybe I'll get rid of Park Fair and do that instead....decisions, decisions!!

Not too far at all, so long as you have Park Hopper tickets.

Actually, we like the 1900 PF dinner. But you're already getting your Princess Fix at CRT, and the humor of the Stepsisters is sometimes lost on really young children. GG might be a better choice.

I am surprised that you were able to book Tutto in April; most recent word had been that the refurb would continue through the entire month.

I would caution that Tony's food does not always get great reviews, and it has surprisingly little "Disney theming" inside. People do not perceive The Plaza as a huge "value", but look at the menu and see if your family might prefer the more casual burger & ice cream options there instead if you need another dinner in the MK.

No meals at all in HS or AK? Are you going to try to go to F! one night? If so, I'd strongly recommend the F! seating package that includes a TS at MM (to replace Tonys, if you wanted Italian) or H&V (basic buffet).

You can take the monorail over to Epcot from Poly, so travel with small children should be pretty easy.

Crystal Palace (dinner) was just OK. Its your typical buffet, nothing spectacular. charachter interaction was great with Pooh and friends though

Coral Reef (lunch) best meal we have had in Epcot. and the atmosphere is wonderful. kids can watch the fish and divers while you eat

Chef Mickeys (breakfast) this is a MUST do for us every trip

1900 PF (breakfast) this was wonderful, the lobster eggs benedict is amazing! and the Mary Poppins/Alice in Wonderland gang is very fun.

We tend to make our ADRs for breakfast at the charachter buffets, for some reason dinners just aren't as good IMO. Hope you have a Magical Trip!! :wizard:

I didn't do dinners at AK because I figure we will be there early morning, go back to pool afternoon and really wouldn't want to go over at night, as I thought it was pretty much closed up at night. Our actual date for Tutto Italia is like May 3, but now that you mention it I tried for a few nights before that and it was booked. I thought it must be so good it was booked, but now I realize it was probably just for the refurbishment:)

We ate at LeCellier on our last trip and loved it! Good choice!

We also ate at Hollywood and Vine (Fantasmic Package). I'm sorry to say it was easily the worst meal of our trip. It's hard, I know, because the F! choices leave a lot to be desired. However, if you don't need it for the package, I'd let that one go. Sorry.

Le Celier was good but not great in my opinion. Chef Mickey's for breakfast(I've never done dinner there) is my favorite-great food choices and character interaction. We've done Crystal Palace for breakfast. we did it to get into MK before it opened. Food was ok but character interaction was not well times like Chef mickey's. Hollywood and Vine was a last resort for us to get into the Fantasmic package. It doesn't get good reviews but we all loved it. Great variety of food (food was food) and lots of choices for desserts too. For Epcot,we loved Via Napoli-the agua fresco (strawberry), pizza and zeppelin were all to die for. Also, you must do the cinnamon rolls at the Main st Bakery at Mk and an ice cream sundae from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor in MK. They bake the waffle bowls in front of you and load it with hot fudge! Enjoy!

O.k. you had me at cinnamon rolls and ice cream sundae... I have the feeling we'll be putting on some pounds this trip- but who cares!!:)

I haven't eaten at all the above...but LeCellier is my favorite in the park. It is really good.
Tusker House Safari breakfast is really great food & fun characters. Of the character meals we have did this is our favorite.
Crystal Palace is also very good & the characters fun.
Planet Hollywood....was pretty good. Most likely not a repeat for us. We had a coupon so went there...but wished we'd gone to Wolfgang Puck express instead at DTD.
I would highly recommend Ohana for supper. It is so so good & just a neat place to eat.
Also, we really like Coral Reef at Epcot.

Garden Grill - Good. Fun to have the characters come to your table.

Le Cellier - OK, but nothing special. Very overrated IMO. We've always waited at least 45 minutes past our ADR time to be seated, which really turned the experience bad to begin with. Hungry children and waiting are not a good thing.

Hollywood and Vine - Very loud and food wasn't very good. Had to request drink refills twice.....and never got them.

Tusker House - never done breakfast, but have enjoyed the dinner there very much.

Crystal Palace - We aren't big breakfast eaters, but did go here last year. Wonderful assortment of things to eat and all very tasty. We all ate a lot, and that's a very rare thing for breakfast.

Chef Mickey's - overrated. Food is OK at best. Having the characters come around is fun.

Planet Hollywood - Horrible! The one restaurant we have never gone back to and probably never will. Food and service were the worst ever. There are far better options at DTD than this.

The Plaza - Nice little overlooked spot. Great place for sandwiches and ice cream treats.

1900 Park Fare - Very tasty food and incredible character interaction. This was a big hit with us. ::MinnieMo
