What type of breakfast items do they offer at Capt. Cooks?? Also is there any breakfast buffets that are not character breakfasts??

Thanks, Sandy

You can view the menus at allearsnet.com

Ohana has a family style breakfast, all you can eat and it is fantastic. Kona is a menu TS place that has awesome food. We will be back there in a few weeks and are planning to eat at both again, Capt Cooks has a very limited menu for breakfast

The Family Styled Breakfast at Ohanas is a Character Breakfast.
It is one of the better Character Breakfast-we've ate there
for 3 different times and didn't find the characters or atmospher to be annoying. Kona is suppose to be very good and we will be eating
there for breakfast on our upcoming trip.

We love all the dining options at the Poly. :thumbsup2 Captain Cooks has the usual breakfast fare, but they also have Famous Tonga Toast and great Mickey Waffles. Also they have Dole Whips!!!! I could eat those any time of the day.:rotfl:

Kona is a wonderful TS meal. They have great breakfasts. They are famous for Tonga Toast, Pancakes with fabulous macadamia nut butter and fresh fruit. You can't go wrong here. Its one of the best breakfast locations in WDW.

Ohana has one of our favorite character meals. It is not loud or annoying and the breakfast food is fantastic! The scrambled eggs are the best on the property, IMHO. Also, they have a fresh fruit platter, great juices and breads, potatoes, sausages, bacon and mickey waffles of course! Ask for warm syrup to make them even more fabulous!:thumbsup2

Hope this helps.

Captain Cook's has Mickey waffles, breakfast platters (with eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuit and fried potatoes), and Tonga Toast. Plus, they have lots of pastries, cold cereals, yogurt parfaits, and other things you could get for breakfast.

We stayed at the Poly on our last trip in 2007 and will stay again this May. Last time we ate at Ohana for breakfast and it was great. We didn't eat at Kona Cafe. I am planning on at least one breakfast there this trip. Can anyone tell me, is the service pretty quick there at breakfast? We usually do two breakfast buffets and I know they can tend to take a bit more time with waiting to get seated and then by the time you get your food and the characters get around, etc. But at Kona, other than the wait to be seated, how quick are they with taking the order and delivering the food? This would be an added breakfast instead of doing Capt Cooks but I don't want to end up taking too much time away from getting to the park. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Bumping for any info on the speed of service at Kona Cafe for breakfast?

Last time we were there for breakfast, everything was pretty quick, but it wasn't very busy. Not sure how quick service is when it is busy.
