Which restaurants have you ate in and would you please give me your opinion of the place...also the restaurants on the Boardwalk.
THANKS.

I can't answer because we are staying at the Swan for the first time next month; but I would love to hear some responses too!

Thanks!
DJ

We have stayed at the Dolphin many times and are returning in February. I really like Tubbis' the "buffeteria" my dd's love the soup, they have many nice alternatives to typical fast food. They always have a few "homecooked" type dinners, dh loved the meatloaf as well as pizza and other traditional foods. The cold sandwich selection is also great and its a nice quick self serve place.

We also like the burgers, milk shakes and ice cream at the ice cream parlor (sorry I don't remember the name) its right at the bottom of the escalator.

I am looking forward to trying the new "fresh" restaurant for a breakfast buffet. Their is a review at allears.net and it looks fabulous.

Boardwalk has spoodles, espn and the brewery, we have enjoyed the pizza window, and espn but haven't tried the others yet.

On the other side of the Dolphin is the BC/YC and IMHO for the best burger ever try the Beaches and Cream. We often just walk over to Epcot WS for lunch at Lecellier or Rose & Crown as well -esp if you have park admission.

Just a tip - you may also want to post on the restaurants board for more replies.

Have fun.

Palio is fantastic! I am still dreaming about the meal we had there last June! Tubbi's is fantastic for a late night snack attack! You will have so many restaurant choices you won't know what to do! Have a great trip and happy decision making!

We stayed at the Swan last year and loved it. We even liked it better than staying at the GF.
As far as restaurants there go, Palio's was fantastic, especially loved the romantic atmosphere. Also loved Garden Grove/Gulliver's for breakfast, you feel like you're in a giant bird cage.
However, my favorite thing at the Swan was this yummy drink served at the lobby court lounge. I don't even know what it was called, but it was similar to a manhattan, but it had these special cherries in it. The cherries are in some sort of large bottle on the bar, cured in some kind of alcohol (very potent). You must try this drink. Ask the bartender there, he will know what you're talking about. BTW, if anyone else out there has had this drink and knows the name, do share!
