Can anyone give me advice on the restaurants at the Royal Pacific. We are a family of five (3 boys ages 9, 12 &15) We plan on eating at Emeril's, Islands and Jakes. Are these "kid friendly" restaurants and which ones serve breakfast. Do you know if the food is any good. Can I use my Magicard at these restaurants? Any other "can't miss" restaurants within the parks would be helpful. Thank you in advance!!

Hi!! We were at RPR beginning of March. Great hotel. Island's rest serves breakfast--either off menu or a great buffet. They have character dinners on certain nites. These are not buffet--off menu only. I thought the adult entrees were a little steep in price but you got a large portion. The kids menu looked the same here as at Jake's. Very reasonable. Typical kid's food--pizza, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, etc. Jake's starts serving at @ 2:30 when Island's stop till dinner time. Jake's is great. Great food at resonable price. We didn't eat at Emeril's go cant help you there. They also have a continental breakfast buffet in the louge area around from the check in desk. I can't think of the name. Standard--juice,bagels,muffins,etc. Hope this helps.

Just to make sure you know....Emeril's is at City Walk and Emeril's Tchoup Choup restaurant is at Royal Pacific.

We tried Islands for breakfast...almost everything on the menu is on the buffet, so we opted for that. It is very good. The made to order omelots are huge and very delicious. The service is wonderful...everyone is so happy there.

Islands has different dinner buffets each evening...themed...the night we ate it was Bali. Food was very good...we had, however ordered room service the night before...the food we got was outstanding and was on Islands dinner menu...so we decided we would probably order from the menu instead of having the dinner buffet next time.

We had a few drinks in Jakes...no food. It has typical bar/grill type food. Looks good. Plenty of familys enjoying it.

We have eaten at Emeril's and Tchoup Choup....Emeril's we really enjoy...there have been a couple of disappointing meals. Tchoup Choup...very, very good, excellent waitstaff.
