Restaurants and kids’ meals

I know this question has probably been asked, but do full service restaurants allow kids over 9 to order larger portions of kids menu items? I am more than happy to pay more. I am making reservations and looking at menus and I would personally like to eat at Mythos, but I don’t know that my 11 year old would eat much off the regular menu.

Last summer, DS14 ordered calamari at Mythos for his dinner. It was super small, so he then ordered a kids pizza. He had no problem doing that.

My kids are fine with the kids portions, they're pretty large. The kids pizza is probably an 8in pizza at Mythos. They've never even questioned my preteen ordering off the kids menu.
