Restaurants and Disney gift cards

Do the restaurants in downtown Disney take Disney gift cards? From what I've read there is a HOB in DTD and I was wondering if they accepted the gift cards since they are apart of WDW.

There are many places that take it but I don't thin HOB does. However, many places will let you use your KTTW card, then you can put the Disney gift card towards your room.

Whats KTTW? We are not staying onsite.

KTTW are the keys to your onsite hotel room that comes with charging privledges if you set up for it to do so. Since you are staying off site you would have to go to places that actually take Disney Giftcards to use them.

Some do. Not all. They may be part of WDW but they are not operated by Disney. It's up to each individual third party restaurant whether they will accept Disney gift cards, reward dollars, DDP, that sort of thing. The ones that do are generally located inside a theme park.
